Mike is excellent AP/IA with multiple decades of experience. He has an eye for anything that looks off, which is an essential quality in aircraft repair.
The mobility of Mike's service is absolutely essential. He will come to you and make your aircraft airworthy again, without you risking everything by trying to fly to shop hundreds of miles away. He was extremely helpful when I needed a pre-buy for my current aircraft. He drove through the night to kick off the pre-buy in the morning and be finished in the evening with the full report.
He will find most economically efficient way to fix your aircraft. Mike knows well that majority of these aircraft are 50-60 years old and lot of their part are no longer produced. So looks to save and reuse as many part as possible without just swapping out components without the reason. What he will not do is he will NOT lead you on expensive repairs just to make more cash. He will not just tell you that your aircraft needs top or major overhaul because of yours in service. While Mike is experienced engine rebuilder, he will not even consider the engine rebuild until he carefully worked through other options. I had another A&P who looked at my engine records and instantly told me that I need my engine to be rebuilt. This "recommendation" could have potentially cost me "north" of $30K. With Mike's guidance and repair, I spend 100 times less than that and now airborne."
